Lone Lying in the Reeds

Matt Cutler is the producer behind Lone, and he has a new album out this year called Galaxy Garden. If you're into musicians like Dan Deacon and Four Tet, you should definitely check it out. There are lots of intricate layers of music overlapping each other, and it makes for a very intellectual listen.

Get lost in the groove of the tunes; spend a lot of time listening intently to all the different sounds. Drum machines, bells and chimes, synths, percussion loops... it's all there, somewhere. I'm always amazed at artists like this that can seeminly take everything at their disposal and craft into something sounding so minimal, and yet sound gigantic at the same time.
