Why do we like this?

The guitar/banjo/ukulele/whatever on this song had me thinking of Sufjan Stevens straight away. And not the new, weird Sufjan Stevens. I'm talking the old stuff.

Lola Marsh have featured on Indie Shuffle numerous times in the past, mostly with sultry delivery a la Lana Del Rey. So, it's nice to showcase one of their works that strays from our norm, and "What Am I" provides the perfect opportunity for that.

This song will be on the band's upcoming album Someday Tomorrow Maybe, due for release January 24th of 2020.
