Why do we like this?

A good re-edit will adhere to the spirit of the original while re-contextualizing the material for a new audience. Sheffield-based artist Lodger has perfected this on his version of Oliver Sain's "On The Hill."

Picadilly Records was certainly a fan, saying the track's use of sultry organ keys, breezy guitar licks, and a truly groovy saxophone makes you just want to get up and move.

"Oliver" is released by Stamp Records, a label specializing in limited run, hand-stamped vinyls, so be quick before they sell out. At the time of writing, Phonica still has some in stock. In the meantime, you can keep up with Lodger on Facebook.
