I Should Just Say It
A track that had me struggling to type, Lizzy McAlpine and FINNEAS go straight for the throat with "hate to be lame."
It's a masterwork of design how much this track builds to its break. It gives you alt-pop soft electro and slowly grows its feelings into a grunge rock break that only lasts as long as the emotional outburst it was building towards.
a Track built on the inner conflicts of romance and emotions "hate to be lame" is a masterstroke of lyrical design, vocal call, response, and thematic building.
It's almost stage musical in its experience and that isn't an essay thing to pull off.
