L.A. producer Beshken has done it again, remixing LIZ’s “Don’t Say" featuring Tyga. This will take you on a musical journey through different landscapes of styles and beats. I can’t even begin to describe how much I’m loving hip hop-infused-electronic these days, and this fits the bill perfectly.
The original track, produced by Djemba Djemba and Mike Parvizi, is a more specifically R&B-centric song, but Beshken has flipped the track over into a sweet dance track.
Opening with gentle pulsating synths, the atmosphere quickly moves from ambient to urban once Tyga’s liquid flow takes the stage, quickly followed by the sensual female-led melody. The vibe doesn’t stay there, though. The beat soon speeds up and synths enter the picture, transporting us to a house groove with a satisfyingly crunchy trap-ish bass.
Everything in this track comes from such different angles, but they come together to create something not only catchy and strong, but really unique. I love this more instrumental side of Beshken's work and look forward to hearing more!
