Why do we like this?
The Band In Heaven rocked the patio stage of Respectable Street in West Palm Beach last Thursday. It was a late show -- they started at 11:50pm -- but I got there early so that I could speak to Ates Isildak, lead guitar/lead vocals. We chatted about their previous releases and new material coming out, and I was told things might get weird at the show, which was cool in my book.
The Band In Heaven opened their set with the popular track "High Low," and throughout the night they played a a lot of new songs from upcoming album Caught In A Summer Swell, including latest single "Dandelion Wine." They also threw in a fun version of Icona Pop's "I Love It" mid-set.
If you dig their sound, pre-order Caught In A Summer Swell here, which set for a September 17 release.
