I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Parov Stelar puts on perhaps one of the most energetic and entertaining shows out there, simply because no one in the audience can resist from dancing up a storm. For two hours straight.
On Saturday I had the opportunity to see the Austrian electro-swing genius playing in San Francisco. Joined on stage by a live trumpet and saxophone (collective, the "Trio"), Marcus Füreder played a massively long set that spanned three phases: 1) electro-swing; 2) house; 3) more electro-swing.
The net result saw The Regency Ballroom's internal temperature rise about five degrees.
I'd highly encourage you check out his live set if you get a chance. He'll be touring through Europe in early 2013 -- you can check out the dates here.
