Why do we like this?
Waterstrider, an indie pop band from Oakland, recently dropped their first release in over a year-and-a-half. The new release is a cover of Little Dragon's earlier gems called "Twice."
While their sound typically features a more indie rock vibe with african and latin influences, their cover of "Twice" switches gears and moves them in a more downtempo direction. The track starts off slow and melancholic with the beat eventually building uptoward the end in a manner that puts me into a mystic groove.
