Little Dragon drops an imaginative bomb on our subconscious with "Disco Dangerous" — a soulful, and funk-fuelled fever dream.
"Disco Dangerous" is what I imagine the mind of Gene Wilder sounded like, a calm yet altogether charming, expressive, and hyped sound that has you going from left to right with the grace of a technicolor crane. The track hops in and out of the funk dome and doesn't stop playing with your ears until the end. It's something to behold, to be so committed to a sound and its expressiveness.
Little Dragon has stolen my heart.
