Why do we like this?
Little Daylight have made a mark as one of the hotter new acts of 2013, with their infectious "Name In Lights" leading the way. So when I saw this remix by Pacific Air (one of my our favorite indie rock acts out of LA), you can bet your buttons that it piqued my interest.
The rendition takes the cake as one of the better rejiggering I've heard in recent memory. It manages to envelop the original in a totally chill and synthed-out layer -- with the cherry on top (a smooth bassline) coming shortly after the 3-minute mark.
Hats off to both parties involved: this is damned good music!
