Why do we like this?
I'm a huge fan of Adventure Club's dubstep remixes, especially this remix of Brand New's "Daisy." So it was little surprise to me that even before I hit play on this track, I knew it would be good.
Fortunately, I wasn't wrong. It is actually really good, and demonstrates a huge shift in tone from the original (Song of the Day back in July). Actually, such a stark contrast that they probably shouldn't be listened to in the same mood. This is clearly dubstep. The other is clearly trip-hoppy. It's as if they're two completely different songs. Behold, the power of remixes!
