Why do we like this?
Lionlimb's new single, "Clover" is a lush orchestral pop symphony for a new generation.
As a longer track, there's plenty of time to take in the twists and turns. The melancholy vocals work around the off-kilter beat. There's a push and pull between order and disorder and the avant-garde approach certainly doesn't go unnoticed. The piano proceeds to emit a dark tones while the strings add an, at times, uneasy feel, and other times uplifting and cinematic. "Clover" is the softest rollercoaster.
