Why do we like this?

Beginning a song with a jarring melody is often-times a risky maneuver. But, given that Lewis Del Mar knocked our socks off with their debut single, I figured I'd give it a chance.

Unsurprisingly, "Memories" does just as well to win us over.

In just under four minutes, the song builds and builds to a climax that  ultimately leaves me wishing there were four more minutes to be had. Alas, there are not, but that's okay. I'll just keep listening to this one again and again until i get sick of it.
