Why do we like this?
For the past year, Florida native Levek has been on the steady up and up, releasing track after track of intricate and palatable psych pop.
This time around, we have Levek's new single, "Girl In The Fog," a stripped down acoustic that still displays the complexities and talent of this band. This is the kind of song that may only have one or two instruments involved but they're played to their fullest abilities. Levek wastes no time diving into the mathematical aspect of making music, and this song is the perfect example. No matter if they have one acoustic guitar or a whole orchestra, their sound will transport you to another place.
With each single that Levek releases, I get more and more excited for their album, Look A Little Closer, to drop on September 25. It truly sounds like it's a cut above the rest, so far.
