Sounds like:
Toro y Moi,
Ghosts of Venice
Why do we like this?
Those who closely follow the work of Chaz Bundwick will no doubt be most familiar with his output at Toro y Moi. However, looking back to 2010, there was also his Les Sins guise, which he uses to make more dancefloor friendly music.
Les Sins has now returned with a release forthcoming on Dan Snaith's JIAOLONG label (you might know Dan Snaith from his work as Caribou and Daphni). I like "Fetch," which features cut up R&B vocals over a slow, swinging house beat.
Fetch/Taken should be available in the next couple of weeks.
