A band who can create something beautiful from an uncomplicated formula is rare, especially in this electronic era. This is the case for Melbourne trio Leisure Suite, who has just released debut single "Great Expectations."
The first cut off their upcoming self-titled EP, it's a beautiful, sun-drenched track that compares favorably with some of the finer dream-pop outfits. While it's simple in its delivery, it's been put together perfectly -- from the smooth synth to the glittering guitar to Bridgette Le's smooth vocal arrangement. It comes as no surprise to learn that the mastering master himself, Andrei Ermin (Chet Faker, I'lls, Rat & Co, Oscar Key Sung), put the finishing touches on "Great Expectations."
Leisure Suite's debut EP is due out next month (insert great expectations pun here).
