Why do we like this?
I can’t put my finger on it, but this song makes me stop in my tracks. I feel it soak into me, and the song becomes meditative. Perhaps it’s the synth that’s so hypnotic. Or the simple lyrics. Regardless, I love how it stops me – the way LEISURE has done that through this song is insane. I mean, music in general - the way soundwaves filter in through our ears and tickle our brain, is gorgeous.
LEISURE just released this single, along with a second "Take You Higher." They’re a much loved New-Zealand based group often featured on here, so make sure to take a listen to some of their other work as well.
