Sydney duo Left. has been an interesting project to watch grow since they started releasing music last year. While they've been caught up in the electronic wave that has hit Australia over the past couple of years, their music has maintained a refreshing individuality to it. Although they've only released singles to date, the guys have been working on their first album, and the record's lead track is out now.
"When My Body Sleeps" maintains that aforementioned individuality that we've enjoyed so far from the duo. The guys have links to the local hip-hop community, and perhaps this is where their slight intricacies stem from. Their music is sharp and cutting, with a definite focus on production, and the result is always pretty spectacular -- especially when you throw Sarah Corry's piercing vocals into the mix.
Left.'s debut album Sirens is due out in early 2015.
