Why do we like this?
Being a huge Led Zeppelin fan from an early age (thanks to my pops), and as a natural progression of today's music influences, I now and then seek out a Led Zeppelin remix -- although 9.9 out of 10 usually suck. Therefore, as usual, I was very skeptical to even give this remix by Free n Losh a listen because I didn't want to be left with a bad taste in my mouth. Alas, I think I have actually found a remix I like.
Canadian duo Free n Losh have twisted "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" in such a way that keeps the blood and guts of the song in tact and recognizable, but ever-so-gently smooths over an electronic dub, that quite honestly, I think my dad would even appreciate. I will definitely be sending this one his way for an opinion.
Free n Losh have a few other classic rock jams that have been reworked with a bit of electronic beats, so if you like what you hear, peep their SoundCloud out.
