Why do we like this?
I've been looking forward to hearing more of Leapling since I was introduced to their yummy single, "If You're Patient," a few months ago. Now it's finally time to enjoy their Losing Face EP.
Leapling's debut EP is perfect for a relaxing listening session where you're just looking to unwind and get lost in some music. With their opening track, "Nature Must Not Win," they waste no time delving into a psychedelic whirlwind of mathematical patterns and lovable melody. And that's only the beginning. Throughout this five-track EP, Leapling presents a very good case -- atmospheric effects shimmers over calculated guitars and a steady, groovy beat while the singer seems to tip-toe above it all. What's not to love?
I urge you to see what Leapling's all about. This is only the beginning for them and there's certainly enough psychedelia to go around.
