Why do we like this?
You know that feeling when you hear a song for the first time, and seconds later you're completely obsessed? Well, this song just so happens to induce that feeling. Nashville's Leagues released their debut album You Belong Here in late January, and fortunately for you, they've managed to get my attention.
"Spotlight" is the lead single from the album, and it demonstrates the ease of producing a well-driven rock song. From the opening drum beat and dirty-toned guitar riff, I had this huge boyish grin on my face, as if to say I had discovered something amazing. All it really took were some funky, scratchy guitars and hook-filled vocal harmonies to rope me in.
If you're intrigued, check out the rest of their debut album. You won't be disappointed!
