I feel like I've been throwing the word "wow" around a lot like, I'm being wowed too much and maybe I've lost what it is I'm really wowed by, or is it that there is just that much to be wowed by?
Take "R&G" for instance. This track wowed me. Whatever Le Malls has got going on here is "wow" worthy. It's like, I can't define it. It's a hybrid of chill trap and alternative pop that sounds larger than life yet smooth as a clam sea. It's confusing my senses and therefore, I'm wowed.
I bring it to you because it is a good track and I "wowed" it, but from here on out I think maybe I should chill on the wowing of tracks because "wow" is starting to feel really watered down. Maybe I just need a new word other than "wow". Suggestions welcomed.
