"Old Head Young Shoulders" is the latest from rising UK indie-folk singer Lauran Hibberd.
Describing herself as someone 'Still writing songs in my bedroom, and loving every second of it,' there is a freshness and excitement to Hibberd's sound that comes through in her songwriting.
Arriving just two months after the release of her debut Favourite Shade Of Blue EP, "Old Head Young Shoulders" continues Hibberd's songwriting journey through youthful lyrics about the joys and sadness experienced in her life. Her spectacular vocals add an ethereal quality to her music with "Old Head Young Shoulders," an upbeat folk ditty that will bring a smile to your face. On the track itself, Hibberd has this to say;
'To me ‘Old Head Young Shoulders’ is all about losing touch with my youth and the shelter that comes with it. It was one of the first songs I ever wrote, and definitely one of the most honest. I wrote it at a time, where I had no idea what I was feeling, no idea where I was heading and certainly no idea what life was actually all about.'
