Why do we like this?

Prior to listening to "Cold Front," I had a totally different vision of what Laura Welsh's music sounded like. In my head it was somewhere between Adele and folk. But, one listen to this song and you'll see I wasn't exactly remembering right...

"Cold Front" unmistakably follows in the same vein of sound that folks like Jessie Ware and London Grammar have been forging. It's a sultry electronic single that settles quite nicely in the ears -- and shows good promise of what's to come.

The song will be available on July 15th via Polydor/Outsiders, but obviously you can already stream it (what more could you want?).
