Why do we like this?

Anyone for a nice bit of female-fronted folk music? Because Laura Gibson's got you covered.

"The Cause" marks Laura's return to the world of new music releases, following her 2012 album La Grande. She's gone through a lot since then, including a journey from New York to Portland, and the not-so-small-event that was her apartment blowing up.

Fortunately those experiences seem to have convened in a pretty nice folk track that, while somewhat standard at first, transitions nicely into a wonderful auditory experience.
