Why do we like this?

There's no "Sounds Like" field for the Song of the Day, but I'll make an exception this time by saying that Last Dinosaurs sound a bit like Two Door Cinema Club. They're not as polished and refined, but "Honolulu" is a catchy song for sure.

The group is part of the ever growing Aussie indie-rock scene, which to me, appears to consistently be one of the more exciting bastions of music today. I don't want to go and say something stupid like "bands in the USA are producing crap for indie rock these days," but...

Whether that's true or not, there's no doubt Australia is putting out some awesome music these days (check out Hugh's reviews for many). Here's looking to more!
