Why do we like this?

Berlin-based Hannes Fischer has a knack for producing minimal remixes that hit just the right note. Case in point: this long, droning remix of Låpsley's "Falling Short."

The original version of the track was released a few months back as the first single off Understudy, the Liverpool-based artist's latest EP. It has a downtempo, mellow/sad feel to it -- a vibe beautifully harnessed by the rhythm of Hannes' rendition.
