Having just dropped his debut EP Thousand Piece Puzzle, Melbourne resident Lanks (Will Cuming) has turned our attention to the record's third single, "Green Light." His side project (when not fronting seven-piece folk pop act Farrow), Lanks' music has been received with plenty of praise, and that looks set to continue here.
A collaboration with bandmate (both Lanks and Farrow) Jess Bonnitcha, "Green Light" is a smoky, mellow track that highlights the chemistry of these two vocalists. The contradiction between Cuming's deep tones and Bonnitcha's sunny voice gives this track plenty to enjoy as the two play off each other perfectly. This is a great track to add to your winter playlist (if you're in the Southern hemisphere, that is).
