Why do we like this?

I've never really listened to Lana Del Rey's music, and I won't comment on it or her.  However, I do listen to everything that Toyboy & Robin (Sccucci Manucci / Cool Kid Music) puts out.  When I saw this remix, I had to give it a listen.  On this track, they do a wonderful job of pairing her deep, sensuous vocals with an airy, euro-disco beat that flirts with futuristic UK underground house.

The duo, comprised of Toyin Mustapha and Rob Drake, have been known for taking catchy pop vocals and complementing it with the darker side of UK bass and electronic music that's been sprinkling its way stateside.  Their talent really shines on this remix, and it fits into my recent theme of longing for summertime, even if it does come with a certain kind of sadness of its own.
