I liked the tempo of this song for the first bit, but it's the robust "filling-out" that happens at 0:45 that really wins me over. There's something lush in the intricate / delayed guitars that really carries it across the finish for me.
"Lake Family" comes courtesy of Helsinki-based band Lake Jons who are gearing up to release a new album on January 19th. I haven't listened to anything else off their record (yet), but the groovy breakdown around the 3-minute mark of this song leaves me wanting to do just that.
