Why do we like this?

I'm sitting here thinking, "I'm Mr. Cool Guy, reveling in how I'll be the first person to properly hype New York producer LAIKO," but wouldn't you know it, someone beat me (pun not intended, but I'll take it) to the punch by nearly a year. So it goes.

"Give You" is sun-grown fire so good that you'll move to California just to wait in line at the dispensary for an eighth of this sticky, head-hitting goodness. The production here reminds me a little bit of Tame Impala at points, but, like, if Kevin Parker got flown out to Hawaii by Kanye West and locked in a studio for three days without sleep or water.
