Why do we like this?

La Femme takes us back with "It's Time To Wake Up 2023," and I was so nostalgic for this sound and so happy to receive it.

La Femme creates a slow-burning psychedelic film with their track. It builds like the intro to an '80s sci-fi and, suddenly and very professionally, drops into its retro charisma. Its aesthetic and sound cut and slip over each other until it plays like you're reading a dystopian fiction. All this is to say that "It's Time To Wake Up 2023" is what time travel for fun sounds like.

It's pulpy, it's retro, and it has me by my soul.
