L.A. Witch delivers badass music from even more badass musicians. The all female group sees their style as “reverb-soaked punked-out rock," and honestly, I can't wrap up their fierce songwriting any better.
Although the group radiates '90s garage rock, they bring a sense of girl power that’s needed now more than ever. Without being too in your face, “Gen-Z” feels vigorous, demanding and fiery.
The trio fearlessly goes heavy on harsh-sounding drums and guitar. If you were watching them live, the sound would be bouncing off every wall.
And those solid drum and guitar solos, which will captivate you in a matter of seconds, are the highlight of the song. Not only do they sound amazing, but they also give each band member their own spotlight.
Rock is so much more than the rugged vocals belting the lyrics, and this song is a refreshing reminder of that.
“Gen-Z” is from their second album,Play With Fire.
