Why do we like this?
Kúra is an Icelandic duo from Copenhagen and Reykjavik, consisting of Fanney Ósk Þórrisdóttir (vocals/lyrics) and Brynjar Bjarnfoss (producer, vocals, lyrics). While their names might be hard to swallow, their music is not - the sweet electronic beats are complimented by Fanney's beautiful, echoing voice.

"I loved the sound of the Icelandic accented voice from the original track, so I wanted to build something around the feel of the vocal without any dancefloor constraints. I did pitch the vocal up a little though, which the band were initially resistant too, but after some persuasion I managed to get it ok'd. The result is this very not dancefloor track, hopefully it will still work for some of you."
