Why do we like this?

Right now we're in the dead of winter down here in South Africa. It ain't that bad, mind you. But I reckon this remix by kryptogram is best-served with a healthy dose of summer weather. So for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere, here's your chance to boogie.

kryptogram is a Chicago-based producer who says he's been "obsessed with Brazilian Disco + Boogie lately." If this song isn't evidence for that I don't know what is.

The total package of this song ends up wonderful to my ear. From the funky bassline to the Portuguese vocals, it comes together in a lovely manner that makes want to dance. Even if it is winter.
