Thoreau is on fire.
Continuing with his excellent skills of mixing live instruments with electronic ones, seamlessly, he's back with another banger of a remix.
The track was given to Thoreau for this reason and this reason only, and he delivers.
"Superstar," by Krewella, Pegboard Nerds, and NGHTMRE is a killer collab as it is, and there have been a few great remixes to this, but Thoreau's takes us somewhere a little different and a little less abrupt than some of the rest.
Keeping it consistent with the prominent synth that goes the entire way through, he also adds a bit of the electric guitar he loves to showcase on remixes, alongside some qquirky sounds we love.
The vocal chops are cool and perfectly placed and spread nicely throughout the production, and the trap snares drive it away from the total dubstep feel, modernizing it to compete with the other sounds of right now.
It's an exciting remix to an exciting tune and collaboration of great music minds. Thoreau fitting nicely in that mix.
