Kraak & Smaak have just released their fourth single of this year, "Same Blood," to be on forthcoming album, Pleasure Centre, debuting October 18th. They're releasing it via their own label, "Boogie Angst." I wrote a review on the previously released single here, and we also posted it on our recently revived YouTube channel here.
An ephemeral track just as addicting as the preceding one; Kraak & Smaak have found their neo-funk niche. Recruiting The Palms to perform vocals was another brilliant choice, as this particular Los Angeles duo holds the unique power of blending all genres of music into their sound. Together, they have produced this charming fusion of psychedelia, synth-pop, and funk.
