The Koreatown Oddity emerges from the smog-filled, neon-tinted concrete jungles of Normandie Ave and Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. Tall, lanky, and eternally outfitted in a rubber wolf mask, Dominique Purdy brings a feral energy to his raps and performances.
After a few underground projects, The Odd finally brings his debut album to life with 200 Tree Rings. A concept album chronicling the creatures lifespan, Koreatown Oddity tells his story with a crude but potent mix of stream of consciousness narrative, humor and just a dash of psycolibin induced madness.
For now check out the opening track, appropriate titled "Title Sequence."
