Your boy KONE is a business man. An acclaimed producer and DJ, the well-groomed entrepreneur also heads the nascent New Los Angeles indie imprint that's put out everything from post-Project Blowed hip-hop to electronic experimental records.
Now, after building a platform for others, the man behind the curtain is stepping onto it as well.
Yellowstone is KONE's latest record and first for his own label. Psychedelic, drum heavy, and dynamic, the record sounds like watching a western at the Hollywood Cemetery on acid.
Just check out "The March," with it's whirling keys and raucous guitar riffs, for proof.
