Following on from the future soul of last year's "In The Dark" London based songstress Koko Clay is back with the invigorating splash of '80s pop that is "You Set My World On Fire."
This one has a real party groove, reminding me of Like A Prayer era Madonna and Purple Rain era Prince. In other words, the good kind of '80s music.
Clay wrote and produced the track and instills "You Set My World On Fire" with a soulful vibe. Her commanding vocals are delightful, as are the little touches in the production, such as the handclap-esque beats and heart warming harmonies. Of the track Clay said:
The song is a love letter, a declaration, filled with passion and desire.
"You Set Me World On Fire" is another wonderful release from Clay who is slowly making her mark in the music world.
