Kodaline got some serious attention this year when their song "All I Want" was featured as the soundtrack to Google's annual Zeitgeist video (a summary of the year's most popular searches/notable events). The match was wholly fitting given the gravity present in many of their songs.
Which brings me to why I'm liking Romare's remix so much: this isn't a hard or serious track to listen to. In fact, it's pretty great -- straight up the future garage alley.
The remix comes in support of Kodaline's upcoming EP titled High Hopes (available March 17th). Then, sometime in June, the band will be releasing their debut album, In A Perfect World. Clearly they're trying to generate some buzz leading up to that release, and with quality songs like this, I'm more than happy to oblige :)
