Why do we like this?
Two things struck me about Kodak To Graph's new single "Glaciaa":
1) The beautiful crescendo up and intricate percussion
2) The awesome and recognizable scenery in the accompanying music video
Kodak To Graph is Michael Maleki, a Florida-based producer who finds inspiration in the "pulsing incantations of cassette grain & VHS blips, live instrumentation and found sounds." He's been releasing songs for quite a while now, and even featured earlier this year on our playlist of "Insanely Beautiful Dreams."
The video for "Glaciaa" sees him taking a tilt-shift tour of locations like Texas, Arizona, California, the Northwest coastline, and a whole lot more. I'd highly recommend you sit back and let this song take over your eyes and ears. You'll probably come out feeling quite relaxed :)
