Klue is, in his simplest form, a bedroom DJ who is a master of laptop production. Sneer if you must, but first let's consider other DJs who crafted their art a la bedroom and who are having a great career: Flume, Naughty Boy (platinum selling "La La La" featuring Sam Smith ring a bell?), and I reckon even Avicii had his moments creating beats of future number 1 in his own abode.
The thing is, bedroom DJ production is actually becoming quite a telling thing at the moment. All the greats have this on their CV, and Klue is Sydney's latest beats guru who's tearing up the clubs in New South Wales.
Coming from London, England I'm delighted to hear some UK garage influence here, with vocal samples and that middy-thudding bass really reviving that classic genre. Happy clubbers and house heads alike will get something from this fruity vibe and thanks to Mark Ronson's popularization of brass, a little something for everyone else, too.
