Why do we like this?

If your'e not yet familiar with KLP, I have no doubt that your'e about to be. Not only is she the presenter of Triple J's Saturday night show House Party, but she's an excellent songwriter, singer, and producer, too. I heard her phenomenal cover of Zhu's "Faded" a few months back, and have been really keen for her new tracks ever since.

I guess you listen to a lot of music when you're a radio presenter, and it clearly shows -- KLP knows how to make a good tune. "Medicine" is totally on trend, combining a deep bass with trickly synths and husky, female-led vocals.

Multi-layered synths open the track, while her airy vocals are sensual and confident, intertwining with backing vocals, synth layers, and a hefty beat. The track builds and flourishes into something smooth, seductive, and utterly captivating.

KLP is about to head out on her first ever live tour, catch her if you can!
