Why do we like this?

It's no wonder a genre like chillwave conjures up images of the hypnotizing lap of wave after wave, touching down on a sandy shore. It's also no wonder that this type of music breeds in coastal cities.

Chloe Kaul and Simon Lam are two young creatives from Melbourne, Australia taking their brand of chillwave and plunging it to a deeper, more soulful level.

The duo's latest track, "False Calls," will envelope you in a tumble of aquamarine. As you sink deeper into the feeling, all you're left with is thoughts — in this case, thoughts of someone that's done a bit more harm than good.
