"Second Life" is the latest from Florida MC Kitty, one of my favorite indie hip-hop artists. While she first got mainstream attention with her 2012 collaboration with RiFF RaFF on the hilarious "Orion's Belt," Kitty hasn't released much material since dropping her D.A.I.S.Y. Rage EP in January. Thankfully the colorful creative is back, prepping for her debut album Flowerviolence and bringing us "Second Life."
Taken from the aforementioned album, "Second Life" is a dreamy, dance floor delight showcasing a new side to Kitty's musical pallet. Her hushed rhymes glide over the drum and bass production, giving the track a euphoric feel that leaves you with a real sense of contentment.
