If you were to combine the intricate instrumentation of El Ten Eleven with the distinctive vocals of Lianne La Havas, you might get something that sounds a bit like Kissing Electric.
Based out of Atlanta, Georgia, the electro soul outfit enlisted Brenda Nicole Moorer on the vocals for a brand new single called "Drifting." It caught my attention almost instantly for its unique and avante-gard sound -- a recipe that's hard for me to turn down.
While the track loses me a touch toward the end, the redeeming qualities of the first 90% manage to sway me. Perhaps you'll enjoy it too :)
