Why do we like this?

Every time I see a song called "Animals" I expect a big room Martin Garrix drop. Kirk Spencer's tune isn't like that at all. It's not a disappointment. It's definitely a relief.

The track is a beautiful pop tune that makes the concept of friendship more appealing than it already is. The snare rolls on it are so palatable, as are the lyrics.
