Why do we like this?
Tuesdays are traditionally the day that bands release their new music, though increasingly that has proven not to be the case. With competition comes variation, and in an effort to stand out from the crowd I've observed that more and more bands are releasing their new music on Mondays, Wednesdays or even Fridays.
Not so for Kings of Leon. Maybe it's because they're big and mainstream and all that nonsense. Or maybe it's because they're just pretty darn old school.
"Wait For Me" is the second single off the band's upcoming album Mechanical Bull (which you can pre-order here). The song is relatively simple, failing to follow up in the more uptempo approach taken for the first track "Supersoaker." Regardless, I thought this'd be a good one for today's Song of the Day, and so here you have it.
