Aussie psych-rockers, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, drop their first new tune of 2020 in the form of the excellent "Honey."
The song features front-man, Stu Mackenzie, crooning over a melodic, micro-tonal guitar riff. There's a real nostalgic vibe to "Honey," with this song being the type of tune I'd like to get stoned too.
The accompanying film clip was directed, edited and shot by frequent collaborator, John Angus Stewart, and features Mackenzie playing the guitar in a number of doomsday-like spots.
"Shot at sunset during the apocalypse with a reeeeeeal long lens,” Mackenzie wrote on Twitter. “I wrote this song a couple of years ago. It’s nice to have it out in the world.”
